ac4rd Flight Gear liveries
… not really liveries, I think, more “repaints.” All of my repaints are based on the work of others and many are very basic, not really polished work. I have not submitted my repaints, for the official repositories. Still, they entertain me. All are offered, try a link I will insert – here – very soon. my hosting doesn’t like tar.gz so it’s a zip, twice as big. Each helicopter repaint of mine has both the *image* file (often a .png in a /2048 subdir) and a GIMP file that I used to create the image file. All of this is offered entirely freely to anyone in the galaxy under the appropriate open-source license protocols, to the extent that they cover puerile and sometimes openly silly helicopter repaints. 🙂 My repaint sources do not include a craft or two I’ve ‘reimagined’ using copyrighted images. If you have trouble with the link, email me (kenkuzenski@gmail.com) or PM me via the FG website.
I’m enjoying learning to ‘fly’ rotary-wing craft on Flight Gear (I started by learning simple fixed-wing craft), and I’m VERY grateful to all the incredible people who have made Flight Gear so amazing. Open-source software and the creative people who drive it, are making the world better. M. Emmanuel Baranger is one of those people, and has creating for FG for many years. And Monsieur le Professeur has also been kind enough to help me learn some basic graphic techniques for FG, and has been kind enough to encourage me despite the primitive and puerile level of my work so far. 🙂 Most of which is shown below:
