More FlightGear stuff

Just random whatevers from my playing with GIMP and FG.   The Wessex Scout is a fun craft to fly.  But who is that in the pilot’s seat?   (That’s Lemmy, now deceased, a true rocker; the band was Motorhead)

That’s Motorhead’s Lemmy flying the Wessex Scout 🙂

very stupid “Cheech & Chong” inspired CH-37 Mojave repaint. This is a very fun craft to fly.

PROBLEM.  Sunken Sikorsky everywhere I go.  This screenshot is supposed to be Las Vegas.  If Vegas really is that far underwater, climate change is advancing rapidly.  But in this particular case, I suspect something seriously wrong has happened with my Flight Gear installation.  It began yesterday and has continued through several PC restarts.

I reinstalled overnight from Fedora’s “Software” and I think that was flatpak.  Reinstalling didn’t change it:  Every single location I try to fly from turns out to be 10 feet under water.  Does anybody recognize what is going on and have ideas about fixing it?   It began when I tried flying out of some lat/long I picked off google maps–but I don’t know if that particular location was the cause.  Help would be received most gratefully.    TIA  ken ac4rd
